David Tisherman is the founder of David Tisherman's Visuals, Inc. where he designs pool and shapes water. He established his firm in 1979 and the headquarters are located in Manhattan Beach, California. He and his business partner, Kevin Fleming, seek to create the best pools possible that have superior aquatic design and construction. Pool & Spa News has called Tisherman "The Frank Lloyd Wright of the pool industry" and he was chosen as a winner of the 2012 Pinnacle Awards for his craftsmanship.

Tisherman's background includes a Bachelor Degrees in History and Industrial Design and postgraduate work at Pasadena, Art Center College of Design and Harvard Graduate School of Design. Tisherman is not only a builder, but also a teacher who has taught architectural rendering and presentation at UCLA.

His pools use reflective quality of water and he works with the setting around him to create a luxury pool that enhances the scene.
